The article studies the definitions of the competitiveness of various authors and presents the author's vision of the concept of "competitiveness of the organization". This development is based on a deep study of theoretical material and analysis of the currently existing definitions of the concept of competitiveness from the point of view of objectivity and completeness of coverage. The new interpretation of the concept made it possible to develop a marketing model for the adaptation of an enterprise to the changing conditions of the market.
