The article analyzes the key financial risks faced by the Russian mining industry in the context of sanctions pressure and limited access to the purchase of modern equipment. The following factors are considered: geopolitical factors; currency fluctuations; increased credit burden and personnel problems. Special attention is paid to the shortage of foreign digital technologies and the consequences of increasing the cost of their acquisition through parallel imports. It is noted that an increase in the cost of production and an increase in project implementation lead to additional threats to the financial stability of enterprises. The analysis of liquidity risks associated with lending for the purchase of expensive equipment, as well as personnel risk, manifested in competition for specialists against the background of cost optimization, is carried out. It is concluded that it is necessary to build a risk minimization strategy through the development of domestic technologies, improvement of logistics chains and a more balanced financial policy.
