All diseases related to humans and animals, usually considered on the basis of system approach: the damaging factors of the external or internal environment plus receptive body with his organ systems (nervous, circulatory, respiratory) and subsystems at various levels (organs, tissues, cells, intracellular structures). Any pathological process can be considered as a dialectical unity of individual and general, part and whole, cause and effect, phenomenon and essence. Any disease is ultimately the refraction factor of the external or internal environment in a living organism. Infectious disease is characterized by the fact that in its origin the introduction of pathogenic factors of the environment through biological basis of the organism. The article uses a philosophical approach as a methodological basis of a systematic approach. The system approach is in the synergy. The phenomenon of synergy is shown us by the example of studying the natural foci of rabies, because in these ecosystems best demonstrates the principle of adaptation of many biological parts in order to survive in the changed environment. The paper also considers the problem of regularities of the existence of the natural focus, in particular active transformative role of the landscape and man as the largest geological force.
