The objective of noise level reduction in ventilators used in roof exhaust systems of general application in industrial and civil building construction is becoming more and more vital nowadays. Actually, at project designing stage the problem of protection from these noise sources is often remains neglected. This practice results in growing number of grounded complaints against roof ventilation systems noise which penetrates into inner spaces of buildings. Several variations of noise suppressing systems built at the inlet part of roof ventilation installations are presented in this report.
