Situational approach and putting forward versions in the investigation of crimes of the past years

The article examines the relationship between the situational approach and the promotion of versions in the investigation of crimes of previous years. The structure of the private forensic methodology for investigating certain types of crimes includes the patterns of the information structure of the forensic situation, and the system-forming factor of the preliminary investigation is the nomination of reasonable versions. The organizational and analytical activity of an investigator investigating crimes of previous years begins with the analysis of the investigative situation and finding possible solutions to overcome problematic investigative situations, the nomination and verification of investigative versions will allow a logical analysis of the materials of the criminal case in order to identify the person to be involved in the quality.
