Fairy tales as educational texts in teaching the Buryat language to preschool children

The article deals with fairy tales as educational texts, which can be used in teaching the Buryat language. We define the concept «educational text» and give its brief characteristics. Despite the fact that texts of fairy tales are similar to educational texts in their characteristics the linguistic components of the first may not reflect study contents. In the article we consider the process of text adapting according to methodical tasks, namely pragmatic adaptation used in translation. The examples of education texts work out by pragmatic adaptation of Russian fairy tales are given.
