The work is devoted to the analysis of foreign criminal legislation, which regulates the responsibility for declination to suicide. Based on the study of the criminal codes of countries of Europe, America, the countries of the post-Soviet space, the general patterns of criminalization of the negative social manifestations considered are revealed in the article.
