Skopinsky ceramics and toy

The article is devoted to the history of the origin and development of decorative ceramics craft in the city of Skopin, Ryazan region. The author of the study noted the richness and diversity of traditions of folk art of the Ryazan region, which was created over the centuries, among which a special place is occupied by the production of pottery. The periodization of the history of development of this unique trade is offered, and also the detailed characteristic of features of production of products from clay in different periods is given.
