Evaluation of 140 entries of the spring wheat ( Triticum ) from Omon-GAI collection (Omsk SAU) to the most prevailing Septoria species - Septoria tritici Rob. et Desm. and Stagonospora nodorum [Berk.] was estimated. The experiment was carried out on the artificial infection background during two stages: in the field conditions, the stage of adult plants; in the greenhouse, the stage of 2 leaves. In the field conditions 33 entries were resistant to Septoria blotch, the severity degree of disease on flag leaf and spike not exceed 40%; the resistance index was 0.03-0.23. In greenhouse conditions, in the stage of 2 leaves, 14 entries were resistant to both Septoria species; the severity degree of leaves not exceed 20%. In two stages of experiment synthetic hexaploid lines were much more resistant to Septoria blotch compared to other entries. On the basis of two experiments results, 26 wheat lines, which characterized by high and medium resistance level to Septoria blotch, were selected...
