The article presents the results of tests of samples of batun onions introduced in the conditions of the South of Western Siberia. According to the results of studies on a number of indicators, two samples No. 14 and No. 44 were identified. Sample number 44 transferred to the GSI and in 2017 zoned as a variety of Premier.
