The Trace Pattern of Criminal Activity of Organized Groups and Communities

The article is devoted to the study of the trace pattern of criminal activity of organized groups and communities, as well as the development of proposals to improve the forensic approach to its investigation. The authors emphasize the threatening scale of organized crime in modern society and its connection with negative trends in economic relations. The paper analyzes a􀁢situational approach to the investigation, which, based on the elements of the criminal- legal corpus delicti, takes into account the opposition from criminal structures. The main focus is on the systemic nature of criminal activity, which manifests itself in purposefulness, coordination of actions and measures to counteract law enforcement agencies. The authors identify the main elements of the investigative picture, including criminal proceedings, systematic commission of crimes and opposition to the investigation. Special importance is attached to the forensic information contained in the traces of the crime, which helps to reduce the problem of investigative situations. The role of specialized knowledge and technical and forensic methods in the extraction and verifi cation of information is also considered. The importance of operational investigative measures and forensic technologies for building information models of criminal activity is emphasized. In conclusion, the authors note the risks of falsifi cation of traces and the need for an integrated approach to their investigation in order to effectively counter organized crime.
