Impression materials for fixing traces of a burglary weapon

The article is devoted to materials for fixing dynamic and statistical traces of the working part of the hacking tools found at the scene for the purpose of their further laboratory forensic examination and inclusion in the case materials. The list of modern industrially produced impression mass available in Russia, which can be used to fix and preserve volumetric traces of mechanical action, is given. A brief description of each of these materials is given. The results of a study of these materials are presented, on the basis of which an assessment of the effectiveness of their use in the manufacture of casts from volumetric traces of burglary tools was carried out.
