The article is aimed to give a detailed analysis of derivative models of deadjective nouns. It explains t he concept of «derivative model » and it also depicts derivative models with the German and foreign suffixes based on the analysis of « Dictionary of word-formation elements of the German language » by M. D. Stepanova. The article gives the analysis of viewpoints of researchers on the problem of allocation of word-formation meaning in the derivative. As a result, the following word-formation meanings of deadjective derivative models have been established: « the substantive not-procedural characteristic called motivating adjective », « the condition, behavior of a person characterized by motivating adjective », « the substantive characteristic as political, ideological, scientific or esthetic direction», « the person as the characteristic carrier called motivating adjective », « inanimate object as the characteristic carrier ».
