Successful treatment of myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock and pulmonary edema: a case report

We report a case of successful treatment of myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock and pulmonary edema. Despite the unfavorable prognosis and severe complications, our treatment strategy, which included timely and appropriate resuscitation aimed at the elimination of the most severe complications and further coronary angioplasty and coronary artery stenting, was eventually successful. Therefore, these measures are mandatory to save patients with such conditions.
