"Accidental writer": the early works by F.D. Kryukov in the "Russian wealth" magazine

This article presents works by F.D. Kryukov in the "Russian wealth" magazine, in which his creative development took place and his best works were published. The article determines the writer's thematic preferences, describes the new type of the character - Cossak, a native of the river Don. The writer's prose is analyzed in context of the "Russian wealth", including publicistic context.
