Smart contracts in business activities: a comparative legal analysis of legal regulation

The authors consider innovative digital technologies, in particular smart contracts (self-executing transactions), in the field of business relations. Analyze the normative legal doctrinal aspects of the regulation and law enforcement practice of using such contracts in various jurisdictions. It is noted that at present, the peculiarities of the perception of the legal nature of smart contracts do not contribute to their uniform regulation at the national level in various jurisdictions. In this regard, it is advisable to formulate this concept within the framework of an international legal normative document.
