Smart contracts: a window in an era of digital law

The article analyzes the pros and cons of using smart contracts in practice. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the nature of such contracts has not yet been completely determined - some jurists attribute them to a special kind of contract, others believe that this is a way of fulfilling a classic contract. The author believes that in the near future smart contracts will be applied in various sectors of economic activity, as some Russian companies already use them in their activities.
