"The death of god" - a key for understanding nihilism in philosophy of F. Nietzsche

The article is devoted to the problem of understanding and interpretation of the famous thesis of F. Nietzsche "the death of God." This thesis is regarded as a metaphor for such a historical and spiritual state of mankind, which, on the one hand, is the cause of nihilism, on the other - the way to overcome it.
