Semantic typology of suicides

Under a psychological analysis of 150 cases of completed suicides and of 30 suicidal attempts we identified a seven of semantic types of suicidal behavior (protest, appeal, avoidance, self-punishment, denial, brutal "misanthropy", a mutual suggestion). The classification us was based on the semantic position of the personality, which was formed at the time of suicidal act. In that way we established the features of the formation and mechanisms of implementation of suicides. Knowledge of these parameters allows us to recognize of the threat of suicide, determine the personal risk of their realization, provides the reference points and "targets" of psychological correction the suicidal behavior and prevention of suicides attempts.
