Snow cover as an indicator of the ecological state of the urban environment

Atmospheric precipitation in the form of rain and snow has a significant sorption capacity, reflecting the content of dust particles and easily soluble substances in the aerosphere. The work carried out studies of the snow cover of various functional zones of Novosibirsk for the content of the main cations and anions, determined the physical parameters and pH of the medium. Analysis of the obtained data allows you to characterize the level of atmospheric pollution and assess the ecological state of the territories.
