The analysis of the risky situations arising in the course of taking of design decisions of clothes is made in the article. The concept of risk decrease is offered. Criteria and alternatives in the course of a variants choice are concretized. The assortments of clothes actual for start in manufacturing, are defined. Consumer preferences in the most significant artistic and design signs of projected products for youth group of consumers are established.
