The author studies different variants of using the concept of "assembly" in public and private law, reveals some common features and suggests the classifications of assemblies. The relevance of common interests for uniting into assembly is explained. The article also explains the use of term "assembly" in the civil law in the meaning of "corporate entity", not "session". The author studies the concept of "assembly's resolution" in the system of juridical facts in comparison to transactions. The special attention is paid to the grounds and kinds of resolutions' invalidity as well as to the order of their disputing. The author applies the complex legal analysis, uses the acts of different branches of law (civil, housing, constitutional, municipal, procedural, labour). The problems of acting legislation on the issues of assemblies and their resolutions are revealed.
