Sochi operation (1942): peculiarities of the carrying out by ministeral affairs bodies

The peculiarities of the operation carried out by the internal affairs bodies to evict some groups of residents of Sochi in the second half of 1942 are considered. It is noted that this happened during the occupation of part of the territory of the Krasnodar Territory by Nazi troops and the temporary transfer of the functions of the administrative center of Kuban to the resort city, which allows speak at least about the ambiguity of the decision taken by the authorities. The author's political and legal assessment of the forced relocation of Soviet citizens during the war is given.
