Childrens summer camp is a social environment that has intense influence on its participants due to the imposition beyond the ordinary life including daily collective rituals. The articles focuses on summer camp within the framework of the ideas of interactive rituals offered by R. Collins. The authors analyzes formal and informal everyday interaction rituals of summer camp and proves their impact on the socialization of adolescents during their short stay in the childrens summer camp.
