Social activity of the population as a factor of socio-economic development of the territorial community

The article deals with the social activity of the population as a factor of socio-economic development of the territorial community, contributing to the effective interaction of management structures and residents. It is shown that the low activity of the population is one of the problems hindering the development of the local community and the socio-economic development of the territory as a whole. Sociological estimations of possibilities of influence of the population on the decision of significant questions of life of local communities are investigated. The parameters of social dependency, manifested in the degree of individual responsibility, both for their own well-being and socio-cultural situation in the place of residence. The author reveals the relationship between the population’s assessment of the effectiveness of regional and local authorities and the solvability of current socio-economic problems.
