Social activity of students engaged and not engaged in sports: a comparative analysis

The article considers the influence of sports activity on students ' academic performance, on the level of their social activity, on involvement in scientific activity. The aim of the study is to identify didactic patterns of use of the developed organizational and pedagogical measures to optimize the training of students on the example of orienteering, which deals with the main problems in the development of social activity of people. It is concluded that social activity is higher in students involved in sports than in students not involved in sports.
