Social security and mobility of the young family in today's context (the case study of Ulan-Ude)

The article deals with the problems of young families, their mobility, capability to adapt to changing conditions, as well as their possibilities with regard to social support from the state during the two-year COVID-19 pandemic. As part of a pilot study, we have considered some aspects of the social security of young families living in Ulan-Ude. The article analyzes the family and demographic policy carried out in accordance with the priority national project “Demography”. We have identified the current financial, housing, domestic, and psychological problems of young families, as well as the reasons of the negative changes in social well-being of young families, and proposed the recommendations for overcoming the crisis.
