Social and system integration of power: designing indicators for sociological analysis
Бесплатный доступ
The issue of power relations is considered in the context of various social disciplines. In political sciences, for example, power is often analyzed through the prism of differentiation and integration of political elites, where the focus is on studying political institutions, election campaigns, relations within dominant groups, and democratization processes. The socio-economic approach, in turn, considers political processes in terms of social and economic transformation, which is not always paid enough attention from political scientists. At the same time, within the framework of political economy, there is a tendency to focus mainly on the relationship of economic power, which in relation to Russia was associated with an analysis of the privatization processes of the early 1990s. It seems that the study of the relations of power from a sociological point of view allows, to some extent, to overcome the possible particular accents of the above approaches.
