Social engineering in phishing, statistics and counteraction

This article addresses an important issue related to phishing, namely use of social engineering to gain benefits through deception. The purpose of this study is to consider information security issues associated with mass use of social engineering in spread of phishing. The article substantiates importance of increasing level of digital literacy in order to minimize and eliminate considered threats among Runet users and government agencies.
