Social culture of a nation and concept of government power: issues of correlation

The article deals with questions of formation of the government power in the democratic and rule-of-law state. Special attention is paid to aspects of cooperation between the government and civil society in the context of social and legal culture, particularly, correlation between the society’s culture and government in the conditions of the contemporary transformational processes. The author substantiates her opinion on the key impact of the mentality and historical specifics of the nation and social culture on the development of the legitimate government power.
