Social mission of native women’s magazine of XIX century

The article analyzes the domestic women's edition of the XIX century in the light of the performance of a social mission of education, training, the organization of life of its target audience. In the nineteenth century, women's magazines were truly socially oriented public institution: first of all, these publications have sought to educate, develop, educate their readers, enriching it with the inner world, to help her in the difficult task of prudent housekeeping, inform about important for a woman's life events and later joined to the social activities, test their strength in the field of charity and mutual aid. During the XIX century the idea of the social mission of the log transformed, but - by and large - almost always they match with the concept of social responsibility and community service.
