Social responsibility as an integrative quality of a person: from theory to practice of the formation of social responsibility in preventive work with students at risk

The article analyzes the theoretical aspects of the phenomenon of social responsibility and some directions for solving this socio-pedagogical problem associated with the formation of social responsibility among students at risk, and also presents practical areas of activity for the formation of social responsibility in preventive work with this target group. Social responsibility as an integrative quality of a person is an indicator of its social maturity and determines a person’s behavior based on his awareness of social norms, values and self-limitation of his own actions. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the problem of the formation of social responsibility, possession of practical methods, techniques and means of its formation allows teachers of the State Budgetary Educational Establishment «House of studying youth “Magnit”» to competently carry out work on the implementation of a regional innovation project on the topic “Prevention of juvenile delinquency risk zone and risk group through vocational guidance and pre-professional training in conditions of additional education”.
