Social support for families with children as one of the priorities of social policy in Russia: current status, problems and development trends

This article is aimed at studying individual problems and trends in the development of social support for families with children as one of the priority areas of social policy in Russia. A review of current legislation and law enforcement in the area of social support for families with children shows that, despite the various social measures adopted by the State to protect families with children and the positive developments that have taken place in this area, A number of areas for improvement still require further implementation. It was concluded that social support for families with children is the most important aspect of contemporary social policy in Russia. It is intended to solve the existing demographic problems in the country, to raise the standard of living and well-being of the family, to minimize social risks in a complex epidemiological situation and to overcome existing crisis phenomena.
