The article aims to consider the social policy of the organization as a tool for creating motivation for higher productivity and staff satisfaction. The experience of implementing the social policy of Russian Railways is considered. The priorities of the social and personnel policy were identified, the indicators of personnel potential, the dynamics of wages for 2016-2020 were analyzed, the structure of the bonus system for personnel in the branches was studied. The indicators of training and development of personnel are analyzed, the practice of implementing the Corporate University "Russian Railways" is considered. The conclusion is made about the effectiveness of the implementation of the social policy of Russian Railways in order to achieve the goals of the company's sustainable development.
