Social work with families at social risk: development of individualized preventive approach

The article presents results of the applied research of social work with families at social risk. The types of such families, their specific features, the main challenges, and readiness to deal with them, attitude to the assistance provided by the specialists are reviewed. The author considers results of the survey of the families registered in the Family and Childhood Support Center. The research justifies reasonability of development of an individualized preventive approach to social work with such families.
