Social work in the establishments of the penitentiary system: theoretical-methodological approaches to organization and content of the activity of specialists in social work

The article describes the approaches to the organization of professional social work in the penitentiary system. The necessity of improving the work of the subjects of crime prevention by integrating social factors, which determine the growth of deviations in the youth group, is justified. A list of principles of social work in prisons is given, their importance in the implementation of measures for social rehabilitation of persons with deviant behavior. The approaches to organization and content of activities in social work with deviant groups in the penitentiary field are proposed.
