Socio-demographic characteristics of condemned, having mental disorders and acceptable and recognized: pilotted research

This article is devoted to risk factors and protective factors of unlawful behavior of convicts with mental disorders and serving sentences in places of detention. This paper presents a brief analysis of the scientific literature on the research topic. The author presents preliminary results of a study conducted on the basis of a correctional institution from the system of the Federal Penitentiary Service. Based on the preliminary results of the study, the prospects for the research being conducted are also mentioned.
