Social and philosophical aspects of relationship of sport and policy

The sport problem in the context of policy has ambiguous treatment. Opinions on the matter fluctuate between two opposite poles. Supporters of one point of view consider that the sport is apolitical. Any its communication with policy distortion of true nature of sport. The appeal to a position of autonomy of sport was in most cases used as a way for the argument of certain decisions. Opponents believe that sport in essence политичен. Any actions within the state always have the ideological basis. Influence of policy extends to all public phenomena. The sport comes under influence of policy irrespective of its types. There are sports holding special position, for example, soccer. Athletes have an opportunity of a contact to large audience of people. In this regard there is a need to define a role of athletes. Whose interests they can express and what have no right. At different historical stages various political paradigms of sport dominate. The purpose of article is the analysis of approaches to a question of a ratio of sport and policy and representation of social and philosophical aspects of this problem. As the main sources for the analysis scientific publications were used: monographs, collections, theses, articles. In article various approaches on a problem of relationship of sport and policy are analysed, the arguments and the facts confirming each of positions on this problem are considered.
