The article analyzes the structural (socio-economic) adaptation of ethnic groups in the Rostov region. Despite the fact that the integration of ethnic groups occurred in a host society, their socio-professional strategies are more differences than similarities. Over time representatives of traditional diasporas completely integrated into the society of the receiving (their socio-professional structure almost is identical to the indigenous population). The "new" diaspora remain are closed, focusing on the traditional sectors of the economy. A substantial portion of the ethnic groups, the statistics referred to "economically inactive population" of labor resources ethnoeconomics. A considerable part of output is in the informal sector of the economy. Therefore, the new conflict potential of diasporas in the Rostov region, including by a number of socio-economic factors.
