Socio-economic characteristics of the cities of the world

The article presents the socio-economic characteristics of the cities of the world according to the following criteria: the level of urbanization and population. The world's largest industrial centers, seaports, the world's leading scientific centers, and tourist centers were singled out. The purpose of the work was to identify the most significant cities today according to the above parameters.
