Socio-economic effectiveness of the constitutional (charter) courts of subjects of the Russian Federation

Russian federalism has many ways of implementation, including through the system of the constitutional (charter) justice of the subjects. The institution of the constitutional (charter) courts has already been tested in the Russian legal system; therefore it is possible to illustrate some of the socio-economic indicators of its activity. The paper discusses effectiveness and feasibility of maintaining the system of the constitutional (charter) courts in its current form; it formulates legal approaches to reforming the system of the constitutional (charter) justice.
