Socio-economic aspects of gender inequality (on the example of Russia and Brazil)

The problems of gender inequality in Russia and Brazil are investigated in the article. The authors analyzed data from the World Bank, in particular, the Global Report on Gender Inequality 2018. The article examines the socio-economic consequences of gender inequality, demonstrates the main problems of the status of women in Russia and Brazil, and compares the indicators of the global gender gap index for these two countries.
