The state and effectiveness of healthcare are an important factor in the formation of high human capital, since the possibility of intellectual and professional development depends on the health of the population. The study examines the socio-economic aspects of healthcare development as a factor in the formation of human capital in the Russian Federation. It has been established that the current state of healthcare is characterized by a change in the structure of medical personnel, as there is an increase in the number of doctors and a decrease in the number of SMS. Existing socio-economic aspects of healthcare development related to low investment support for the industry and insufficient financial motivation for staff (especially other categories of employees other than doctors) They contribute to reducing the effectiveness of the industry in terms of ensuring the quality and accessibility of medical care.
