The subject of transport infrastructure development is considered and discussed more and more by the government of the Russian Federation and the mass media. The export potential of the state, the development of capital construction and further growth of GDP as a whole depends on the conditions of transport infrastructure. Today, when the industry coped with the main shocks of the crisis and the economy recovered and got back to pre-crisis indicators, one of the main constraints for further development is roads and ports’ capacity. In our opinion, there is the way out in this situation of limited real volume of planned capital investments and shortage of infrastructure facilities, they are clear and understandable mechanisms of interaction between the state and the private sector, which should unite their efforts to reform the transport infrastructure in Russia. Currently, in the world scientific literature there is a large number of possible classifications of socio-economic effects, how they influence the economy, by assessment methods, etc. However, there is no unified approach, and all new methodological official documents and scientific publications only expand the field of meaning, but do not structure it. In this article, the authors tried to elaborate and reduce the channels of influence of transport projects to specific effects that are most significant for territory and economy development in the Russian Federation.
