Socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic

This article focuses on the socio-economic impact of COVID-19. The text of the article examines the main problems faced by the economies of states in connection with the pandemic. The impact of the pandemic on tourism, medium and small businesses, as well as the impact of COVID-19 on the education sector is considered. The Russian economy is in for a recession that matches the duration of the global economic downturn. According to the authors, the scale and social consequences of this decline can be reduced for Russia.
