Social and economic monitoring of municipalities of the Republic of Buryatia

In Russia at all levels of government (federal, regional and municipal) a system of socio-economic monitoring has been formed. In this regard, the development of municipalities is based on the social and economic monitoring and depends on its quality. In this paper, an analysis of indicators by types of municipalities of the region is worked out. It is concluded that it is necessary to choose a detailed approach to the selection of indicators and assess their significance.
