A socio-economic approach to the study of life quality in the region

The article describes the basic concepts, forming a single semantic groups with the concept of «quality of life» and approaches to the study of quality of life in the region. Socio-economic approach are recognized by the author as the most appropriate and relevant in today's conditions for solving the problems of managing the region. The author also substantiates external and internal factors of quality of life, which must be taken into account to achieve the final goal of development of the region - improving the quality of life of the population.
