Socio-cultural environment of the Moscow region: development trends

The article examines the development of the socio cultural environment, the factors that characterize the socio cultural space of Moscow. Non profi t organizations, individual entrepreneurs, federal state unitary enterprises, limited liability companies receive fair funding for socio cultural projects on a competitive basis when applying for grant competitions. The most active are non profi t organizations off ering the creation of festivals, awards, forums in the fi eld of culture, art and creative industries. The most demanded are the creative industries, which include many actively developing areas: literature, publishing, design, fashion, art, music and sound design, architecture and urban studies, new media, multimedia, cinema, games, and start ups in the fi eld of culture receive the least support, arts and creative industries. Socio cultural design is the leading tool of the state cultural policy. The data of the winners of the Presidential competitions of cultural initiatives was analyzed: types of projects, as well as applicant organizations. The fi nal part is devoted to the study of project support by type of organization.
