Socio-cultural projects as a factor in the development of youth leisure preferences

The article discusses the features of the creation of socio cultural projects focused on the youth audience. The characteristics of the structure of free time of modern youth are given, as well as the main trends in the leisure preferences of the youth audience. On the example of a youth project implemented on the basis of the Center for Culture and Leisure "Kirovets" (St. Petersburg), the possibilities of attracting young people to participate in amateur club formations are considered. The main conclusions are formulated on the problems of cultural and leisure institutions related to the implementation of youth socio cultural projects, and promising areas for the development of creative projects that meet the cultural needs of young people, are able to create the necessary conditions for the successful self realization of young people, off ering new adequate forms and types of leisure activities.
