Socio-political foundations of the national-conservative modernization of modern Russia

The paper analyzes the main trends and vectors of the socio-political development of the Russian society. The risks and threats to Russia’s modern development are considered. The key political foundations of the conservative and liberal ways of modernizing the political system are studied. The paper, based on historical and comparative methods, as well as discourse analysis and document analysis, describes the key trends and conditions of the country’s political modernization. The main vector is the strengthening of sovereignty and domestic stability on the basis of the practical implementation of conservative and national-patriotic ideas. Within the framework of the systemic and process approaches, vectors and trends of modern socio-political development in the direction of expanding the implementation of conservative and national-patriotic projects have been investigated. Within the framework of the political-normative approach, the legal foundations of the ongoing political changes are outlined. The final part of the paper analyzes the key promising vectors of Russia’s political development.
